Promising review: This is a great product. Attentions 2017 Tacoma owners, the racks can only lower to about the #20 mark because the bed liner prevents it from recessing all the way down.

The cross bars will be right over the cab roof. Otherwise, it works as advertised. You will need the Thule XK4 silver or black clamps to fit to the 2017 Tacoma bed rail system.

This pair doesn’t whistle while cruising on the highway like older models. That’s assuming all the end caps and screws are in place.

I noticed the bar end caps fell off many other users racks. You might consider checking the screws regularly and possibly adding locktite or something to keep the end cap screws from coming loose.

Don’t try to overload it with materials because those cross bars will bend.

I feel like these racks are very overpriced so a good deal as of 2018 is less than $600.00 USD.

Many spare parts are available from Thule who doesn’t ship directly but may have one of their distributors mail parts out.
